A year in review: In 2020, Spaceflow increased its presence in the residential sector

Even though other industries have been largely disrupted by technology (think Facebook, Uber, Netflix and Spotify), for a long time, the real estate market had no real pressure to quickly innovate, implement technologies or even conceive a digital strategy. "Then 2020 came. The COVID-19 crisis has completely changed the perception and need for technology in every part of our lives and this time, including real estate. As a result, tenant experience has gained momentum," says Lukas Balik, co-founder and CEO of Spaceflow.

Modern industry meets art: Kamila Kurczab announced as a winner of the Accolade mural design competition.

Last October, Accolade in partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of the Białystok University of Technology announced a competition for the mural design that would decorate a retaining wall in the industrial park in Białystok. After the expert jury chooses the finalists, the tenants from the park were the final decision-makers. The winner and proud author of the design, which will enhance the environment of the park, became Kamila Kurczab with the design "Colorful future for all".

Main HOPI warehouse to be built in the P3 Mszczonów park

The BTS centre in Czeladź is to eventually have an area of 67,000 sqm. The first stage of the construction work is to be completed in February 2021 and what will make the new warehouse stand out are all the different types of technology used to improve the sorting, picking and packing, and shipping of goods for all of OTCF’s sales channels.

2020 – a record year in Poland for Panattoni, with over 2.1 million sqm leased

Panattoni, the leader of the industrial real estate market in Europe, enjoyed a significant increase in leased space in Poland in 2020. Over the year, the developer signed lease agreements with such clients as Media Expert, 4f, InPost, Allegro and Phoenix Contact for over 2.1 million sqm of space – 800,000 sqm more than the previous year. This volume was achieved in spite of the outbreak of the epidemic in March and was mainly due to the e-commerce boom. The strong performance of the warehouse and industrial market was also the result of other new trends – such as the shift of production from Asia closer to the end consumer and retail networks securing the continuity of their supply chains.

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions in Poland leases almost 16,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Poznań IV for handling e-commerce goods for well-known fashion brands

European industrial real estate leader Panattoni is also the developer of choice for e-commerce. At the recently completed Panattoni Park Poznań IV in Komorniki, Arvato Supply Chain Solutions in Poland has leased 15,600 sqm. The logistics operator handles the online sales of one of the leading international companies in the fashion segment. Panattoni Park Poznań IV, after the completion of expansion work, now covers almost 87,000 sqm.
