With the new warehouse, LPP Logistics can handle as many as 500,000 orders a day. The company relies on advanced automation solutions, including the Goods to Person model, which combines the work of robots and humans. "Our starting point is the Goods to Person model, which is based on close cooperation between the applied automation and the worker. The solutions we are planning will reduce the need to move around the warehouse " - says Daniel Potoczniak, director of e-commerce logistics at LPP Logistics.

The warehouse uses artificial intelligence and robotics, including a Picking Engine system that delivers items directly to the workstation operator. The support of mobile AMR and ACR robots enables efficient movement through the warehouse without additional infrastructure. The introduction of sorters that will automatically separate items into individual orders is planned for Q4 2024.

The new fulfillment center is the ninth warehouse managed by LPP Logistics, with a total area of nearly 600,000 sqm. It handles e-commerce orders from other warehouses in Pruszcz Gdański, Jasionka, Slovakia and Romania. By the end of 2025, the company plans to increase its warehouse space to 700,000 sq. m. and invest PLN 450 million in development.
