The development aims to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and LEED Platinum certifications as a result of the redevelopment of outdated and energy-intensive buildings. Roman Skowronski, Managing Director of Peakside Capital Advisors, comments: "It is important to remember that the City Point Targówek site has a rich history dating back to the 1950s, when the first industrial and warehouse halls were built. By investing here, we are reclaiming an area in an extremely attractive location, restoring it to its former glory. Brownfield investments, such as the one in Targówek, are more environmentally friendly because they revitalize already developed land instead of urbanizing new land. This helps reduce pressure on new land and contributes to the sustainable development of the city."
The C2 building will be equipped with modern energy-saving technologies, including photovoltaic systems and intelligent industrial facility management systems. In addition, there are plans to revitalize 8,000 sqm of green space around the building.
City Point Targówek developmentThe next phases of the park's redevelopment will see the construction of four additional buildings for logistics, e-commerce and other tenants looking for urban logistics space or high-quality manufacturing and warehouse space. Upon completion, the total area of the City Point Targówek park will reach 100,000 sqm.
