90,000 sqm of warehouse space under development. Panattoni Europe expands in Greater Poland – the existing portfolio in the region will soon be augmented by an additional 90,000 sqm in three top locations. Situated in Jaryszki, Panattoni Park VIIis just 12 km from Poznań. Of the 43 600 constructed in Jaryszki, already a quarter of the space has been leased by a logistics operator while construction works are still under way. The proximity of the city centre and efficient transport connections increase the importance of the park in the development of the region, while the adjacent expressway S11 (Koninko Junction) facilitates efficient transport of goods to the south – Katowice, and north of the country – Bydgoszcz and Grudziądz. In turn, Panattoni Park Poznań IV in Komorniki is located in the vicinity of two junctions – Komorniki and Poznań Zachód – on the A2 motorway, connecting the most important logistics locations in Europe – Łódź, Warsaw and Berlin, as well as near the soon-to-be-completed S5 expressway. This makes the park an excellent opportunity for international operations. The region also stands to benefit greatly from Panattoni Park Poznań IX in Swadzim which, like its counterpart in Jaryszki, is close to the city centre, providing workplaces and excellent transport connections within the metropolitan area. In the three parks, on top of the space currently under development, an additional 200,000 sqm will be built.
According to Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni Europe: “The Poznań region is a place with great potential. That is why we have been here for more than a decade and we are not letting up, working on 3 projects at the same time. The largest one among them is Panattoni Park Poznań VII in Jaryszki with 43,600 sqm – our strategic endeavour. A park as little as 12 km from the centre of Poznań is great news, both for tenants and future employees, who will be able to get to and from work by public transport”.
Poznań – the place for a successful investment. Greater Poland is a region offering lots of opportunities. The third place in the country in terms of regional GDP confirms the strong position of the voivodeship on the economic map of Poland. Moreover, the population in excess of 3.5 million constitutes a vast labour pool, an attractive asset in the eyes of investors and employers alike. Poznań – the regional capital – is one of the best-communicated cities in Poland. It is traversed by 11 roads of above-local status and 8 railway lines. The greatest asset of the region is the A2 motorway, which connects Poznań with the most important logistics centres in Poland – Warsaw and Łódź, and in Europe – Berlin. In view of Poznań’s premium location, access to a qualified labour pool and steady growth of the region, no wonder Panattoni Europe has been so active in and around the city.
Three projects, same quality standard. The excellent location of the three logistics parks coming up in the Greater Poland region is not the only trump card. The facilities, designed to total 9 buildings at full build-out, will offer top “A” class warehouse space, with functional and flexible units. Development of three different logistics parks at the same time opens up opportunities for different types of investments, especially because they are suitable for both storage and light manufacturing purposes.
