DB Schenker launched its operations at Hillwood Rawicz in autumn 2023, opening a logistics center for an optical products manufacturer on over 17,000 sqm. Now, just a few months later, the operator has leased a further 9,800 sqm – including 150 sqm of office space – to accommodate new business, including a client from the automotive sector.
“Back in October, we announced the launch of a new site on DB Schenker’s contract logistics map, and today we’re proud to already be expanding to 27,000 sqm. We thank Hillwood Poland and the Municipality of Żmigród for their support in the dynamic development of our operations,” says Witold Augustyniak, Regional Director of Operations Contract Logistics at DB Schenker.
Modern infrastructure in a high-potential region
Hillwood Rawicz is a modern class A logistics park located in Korzeńsko, in the Municipality of Żmigród, right on the S5 expressway connecting Poznań and Wrocław. The park offers nearly 147,000 sqm of premium warehouse space and holds a BREEAM “Excellent” certification, confirming the high quality of its infrastructure and environmental standards.
The first stage of the development – nearly 54,000 sqm – was completed in February 2024. The efficient construction timeline, coupled with the immediate signing of major lease agreements, highlights the park’s strong appeal among logistics leaders.
