Both new buildings will be used as storage space by customers who are already present in other P3 locations in Poland. The first one of them is Green Factory Logistics, focused on cold chain logistics, which is going to occupy 5,507 sqm. A part of the space occupied by the company will be used as cold storage. Paweł Lorek, the COO at Green Factory Logistics, said: “The operations we handle for our partners require space adapted to the specific needs of cold chain logistics. P3 did a perfect job in meeting our requirements earlier at the P3 Błonie park. Currently, P3 has also made the grade by adapting the construction of the new location to our needs, both in terms of technical and cost. I am assured that both the proven quality of the premises and the extraordinary location of the P3 Poznań park, near the S11 route connected with the A2 highway, will help us further enhance the efficiency of our operations in western Poland and Europe.” The second warehouse, covering 12,820 sqm, is leased in 100%. It is being developed as a cross-dock for one of the largest Polish logistic operators and will be fully adapted to the customer’s needs. Both premises are developed in line with the “very good” BREEAM certification. They will be equipped with PIR core panels, more effectively isolating the buildings from adverse weather, including the option to install PV panels in future, owing to the rugged construction of the roofs. The warehouses will be provided with energy-saving LED lighting and the DALI automatic control system, and water taps in bathrooms will infrared controlled. Bartłomiej Hofman, the Managing Director at P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, says: “We are glad to see that in spite of the uncertainty accompanying us in the first half of the year, the lessees’ activity in Poland remains still high and in their search for projects and locations which are optimal for their needs, they have again decided to choose P3. At our P3 Poznań park, we offer cutting-edge and high-quality storage space, properly connected with the whole region and helpful with operations and performance in the German market.” The P3 Poznań park is one of the currently largest logistic parks in the Wielkopolska region with more than 190,000 sqm of leased storage and office space. In Phase 2 of the development, the developer is permitted to build 200,000 sqm of modern storage space. P3 Poznań is only 16 km away from the Poznań city centre and only 2.4 km away from the S11 express road. The excellent location of the park attracts customers both from the e-commerce industry, production companies and those distributing to West European markets. Phases 1 and 2 are separated only by a road being one of two arterial routes providing an easy and convenient connection with the highway for the lessees. There is also a bus stop located on the premises of the park for convenient commuting of workers.
