Goodman has been present in Poland since 2005. Today Goodman manages 17 logistics facilities at key locations on the country’s logistics map—Greater Poland, Upper and Lower Silesia, Kraków, the Łódź and Warsaw agglomerations, Pomerania—and also has a presence in promising markets such as Eastern Poland.
Goodman’s customers include companies across a wide range of sectors, from logistics and manufacturing to automotive, food, retail, e-commerce and pharmaceuticals. Over the years the group has delivered space in Poland to leaders in their fields including Amazon (123,500 sqm) and Intermarché—The Mousquetaires Group (82,400 sqm) and other leading firms on the Polish market including Eurocash, Mila SA, ILS (InterCars group), Gestamp, Valeo, DHL and Kuehne + Nagel, as well as rapidly growing enterprises such as Bonito.pl, Terramar and Langowski Shipping.
“Achieving a significant milestone of delivering one million sqm is an important step in Goodman’s operations on the Polish market and provides a solid foundation for our further expansion,” said Maciej Madejak, Goodman Head of Business Development Poland. “We are expanding our existing facilities in Wrocław, Gdańsk (the Pomeranian Logistics Centre), and Warsaw and are seeking to acquire attractive new land plots with developed infrastructure.
“We would like to take this opportunity as we reach the one million sqm milestone to thank our customers for their trust in us, and we look forward to continuing to support them in their growth in the Polish market,” Mr. Madejak added.
The growth of Goodman’s business in Poland is captured in the “Own + Develop + Manage” philosophy. The company invests in properties that provide long-term growth opportunities, which enables it to build enduring relationships with customers and deliver investors a satisfactory rate of return. Goodman offers a full spectrum of logistics space in facilities built to suit for customers. It also seeks opportunities to continually expand its land bank for future projects.
