The logistics center will be located in the southern part of the city, directly on the national road No. 14.
Thanks to its location in the heart of the country, at the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways, Łódź has become one of the most important places on the country's logistics map. It is an ideal reloading point where sorting plants of the largest courier companies or warehouses for the e-commerce sector are built - says Hubert Michalak, President of the Board of Hillwood Polska.
The new investment is being built at ul. Pabianicka, 8 km from the city center. As part of the project, Hillwood will also build a road with a roundabout, which will directly connect the national road No. 14 with the Pietrzak Roundabout. The new road will be equipped with shoulders, pavements and lighting. The cost of this investment, which will be transferred for municipal purposes, is estimated at about PLN 7 million.
The warehouse hall under construction will be 12 m high. The project will be submitted for certification in the BREEAM system at the excellent level.
