Panattoni and e-commerce are driving the development of further local markets – Now the time has come for Siedlce. The company is now developing Panattoni Park Siedlce comprising two buildings with a combined area of 24,600 sqm with half of the planned space to be delivered by April 2022. This will be the first class-A warehouse in the region. The project already has its first tenant – a logistics operator who is to take up 5,500 sqm from September this year.
– “Now it’s Siedlce, while earlier it was Rzeszów, Wałbrzych, and Kalisz. These locations prove that the trend is for e-commerce delivery companies to penetrate deeper into the market. Businesses are reducing the distances of the final leg in the delivery chain to the customer by placing their centres near smaller towns and cities. This allows them to maximise their effectiveness by cutting costs and delivery times. Combined with the growth of local business, this is the most important reason for modern warehousing space to be built where previously only facilities of a lower standard were available,” says Michał Samborski, the Head of Development of Panattoni.
Siedlce is yet another local market to be opened by Panattoni. The developer has, over recent years, been behind many developments in Western Poland, being the first to set up projects in such locations as Zielona Góra and Gorzów Wielkopolski. Additionally, the company was the first to enter many locations in Eastern Poland, building facilities in such cities as Lublin, Rzeszów, Kielce, and Białystok.
Panattoni Park Siedlce is a two-building class-A warehouse complex near the city’s centre and its bypass. Moreover, nearby the centre the final section of the A2 motorway is being completed, which will reduce the drive time to Warsaw to just over an hour. The park will have an area of 24,600 sqm. With the flexibility provided by warehouse and offices modules and the project being designed to meet the needs of warehousing, storage and light production, the park is intended for local clients from different industries. The project is to be BREEAM certified with a rating of ‘Excellent’ and its tenants will be able to use the solutions for limiting water and energy usage as well as office space with appropriate acoustics and improved access to natural daylight.
